Woke to a beautiful sunrise
And continued windy conditions
Stopped at Arches Provincial Park
Stopped at Port au Choix National Historic Site and was surprised to see all the signs amended like this
But was pleased to see this sign later
While this looks like a gravel lot but it's a limestone barren that has been broken up by freeze/thaw cycles. Low in nutrients, few plants grow on it.
Point Riche Lighthouse
Arrived in St Anthony and made our way to the library, house in the municipal building where this was displayed. It had wandered into to town and became a menace.
Our intent was to visit here and crash for the night in their lot, but alas they are no longer in business nor producing beer. But the grocery next door said we could stay behind them for the night.
