Got in line for the ferry from North Sydney to Port aux Basques.
And although they were taking many of the trucks and vehicles on the ramp above us...
we entered into the maw below.
This ferry was huge

Matthew met this guy. He decided to do this for his eighth birthday
Hello Port aux Basques, Newfoundland! I spotted a basking shark - which are huge - as we were approaching the harbor. I thought to tell everyone around me so they could see it but neglected to get a photo as it went right alongside the ferry.
After stopping at the visitor center we headed east.
Found a spot alongside the road for the night.
