It was a slow morning as we all recuperated from the party, but eventually, we made our way up to Lookout Point Lake. The last stretch of the drive was intense as the two-lane road twisted and turned up the mountain. There had been an ice storm recently and trees were down everywhere, including some that jutted into the road.
However the day was beautiful, the lake level was high, and the water was warm.
Kayaking was followed by a great dinner, drinks, dominoes, and pool at one of Nate’s favorites, McShane’s Saloon, where Nate liked this beauty.
