Monday - Last full day at Nate and
Rux's was a day to do last minute laundry, for Matthew to check in on
his first day of classes (he has 3 online classes this summer), Cheryl to check in on everything at her work, and
repack for tomorrow's exit. Jake came over for dinner and we had a
relaxing last night.
With Nate's wife Ruxi.
Tuesday - We left Nate, Ruxi, and Cessna and headed southeast through Oregon. We had originally planned to stop at Crater Lake, but roads were still closed due to snow so we chose a different route.
Couldn't leave without replenishing my beautiful vase with a rose from Ruxi's garden.
It was a beautiful drive and we got to see small prairie dogs up close at a rest area.
Also beautiful flowers in the high desert. Matthew had to get a shot of me climbing up for the perfect photo.
Saw this stunning metal sculpture on the grounds of a large ranch.

Also saw this less than enticing advertisement.
Matthew, lamenting his lack of hobbies appropriate for living on the road, was given yarn and instructed by our friend Kate Williams to learn to crochet. Ever the obedient one, he is trying.
Reached our destination, the Walmart in Winnemucca, Nevada, primarily so we can sleep overnight in Nevada and put that state sticker on our van. It's the little things.
